This Privacy Policy explains how Rainaldo Crosbourne ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the One One Cocoa mobile application and related services (the "App"). By using the App you agree to this Policy.
1Information we collect
We collect only what the App needs to function. We do not use advertising or third-party analytics/tracking SDKs.
Account information. When you create an account or sign in we collect your name and email address. If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple provides your name and an email address (which may be Apple's private relay address).
Financial information you enter. Expenses, income, budgets, savings goals, exchange-rate preferences, and payment-method labels (for example a method's name and the last four digits of a card). We do not collect or store full card numbers, and the App does not process payments.
Receipt images. Photos of receipts you capture or select from your library, and the text/values extracted from them.
Device information for notifications. If you enable notifications, we collect an Apple Push Notification service (APNs) device token so we can alert you when a receipt finishes processing.
What we do NOT collect. We do not collect your location, contacts, or biometric data. Face ID is handled entirely on your device by iOS to unlock the App; your face data never leaves your device and is never sent to or stored by us.
2How we use your information
- To provide and operate the App (store and display your expenses, budgets, etc.).
- To extract details from your receipts (see Section 3).
- To send you notifications you've enabled (e.g. "your receipt is ready").
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To respond to your support requests.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
3Receipt scanning and AI processing
When you scan or upload a receipt, the receipt image is sent to Google's Gemini AI service to read and extract details (merchant, date, amount, line items). To help identify a merchant, the merchant name may also be submitted to an AI-assisted web search. This processing is performed by Google and is subject to Google's applicable terms and privacy practices. We send only what is needed to parse the receipt and we use the results solely to populate your expense.
4How your information is stored and protected
Your data is stored on our servers hosted with Laravel Forge and transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Your authentication token is stored securely in the iOS Keychain on your device. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information; however, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
5Sharing and disclosure
We share information only with service providers that help us run the App, and only as needed:
- Google (Gemini AI) — receipt image processing (Section 3).
- Apple — Sign in with Apple and push notification delivery.
- Laravel Forge — server hosting.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
6Data retention and deletion
We retain your information while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from within the App (Settings → Delete account), which permanently removes your account and associated data from our systems. You may also contact us at [email protected] to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information.
7Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected].
8Children's privacy
The App is not directed to children under 15, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date.
